suministro a nivel mundial. El desbalance del influjo de carga y restricciones de movilidad no solo se manifestaron en la congesti\u00f3n portuaria, sino que hubo modificaciones en los vol\u00famenes de carga, conectividad de las rutas y la debacle de las tarifas de flete. Todos estos cambios se suscitaron en un corto periodo, poniendo a prueba la resiliencia del supply chain, revelando los eslabones m\u00e1s d\u00e9biles que es necesario reforzar de cara a los desaf\u00edos de la era post-Covid. Sin embargo, \u201cya no se trata solamente del Covid, sino m\u00e1s bien de la coyuntura econ\u00f3mica global, tales como el conflicto entre Rusia y Ucrania, inflaci\u00f3n y otros temas geopol\u00edticos que est\u00e1n afectando las condiciones econ\u00f3micas en el mundo\u201d, coment\u00f3 Luisa Rodr\u00edguez, oficial de asuntos econ\u00f3micos UNCTAD, rama comercio y log\u00edstica y una de las panelistas durante el webinar, donde adem\u00e1s participaron Jan Hoffmann, jefe rama log\u00edstica y comercio UNCTAD, y Pamela Ugaz, encargada de asuntos econ\u00f3micos, UNCTAD, rama de comercio y log\u00edstica.<\/p><p>La sesi\u00f3n fue moderada por B\u00e1rbara Salgado, International Content Editor MundoMaritimo, y const\u00f3 de tres paneles donde los expertos de la UNCTAD abordaron las principales tendencias globales en el comercio mar\u00edtimo, los indicadores clave de desempe\u00f1o y el marco regulatorio para la facilitaci\u00f3n del comercio y transporte mar\u00edtimo internacional, todo en base al an\u00e1lisis del \u201cInforme de Transporte Mar\u00edtimo 2022\u201d de la organizaci\u00f3n dependiente de las Naciones Unidas.<\/p><p>Facilitaci\u00f3n comercio mar\u00edtimo y consolidaci\u00f3n<\/p><p>En sus 54 a\u00f1os de historia, el informe de transporte mar\u00edtimo se ha enfocado en el comercio mar\u00edtimo, la flota, tarifas, desempe\u00f1o y el marco regulatorio, pero en su versi\u00f3n 2022 incluy\u00f3 por primera vez un componente estrat\u00e9gico dedicado a la facilitaci\u00f3n del comercio mar\u00edtimo y la consolidaci\u00f3n de la industria naviera. \u00bfDe qui\u00e9n es la culpa del alza de tarifas? \u00bfDe la integraci\u00f3n vertical y horizontal de los armadores? \u00bfQui\u00e9n regula la consolidaci\u00f3n? \u201cExiste una inquietud respecto de quien controla a los armadores\u201d, dijo Hoffmann, refiri\u00e9ndose al sexto cap\u00edtulo del informe donde se indican cuatro recomendaciones frente a la consolidaci\u00f3n de las l\u00edneas navieras para potenciar la facilitaci\u00f3n del comercio mar\u00edtimo.
