Chancay, se viene ejecutando el proyecto de dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n del nuevo Terminal Portuario Multiprop\u00f3sito de Chancay, desde el cual se podr\u00e1 redistribuir la carga a otros pa\u00edses cercanos como Chile, Ecuador y Colombia. Adem\u00e1s, permitir\u00e1 descongestionar las v\u00edas de acceso al puerto del Callao, generando oportunidades para la carga proveniente del oriente y sierra central del pa\u00eds, elevando su competitividad frente a otros mercados.<\/p><p>Actualmente, la empresa Cosco Shipping, en coordinaci\u00f3n con el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC), est\u00e1 perforando el t\u00fanel, que tiene una longitud de 1,8 kil\u00f3metros. El proyecto est\u00e1 constituido por tres grandes componentes. Uno de ellos es la zona operativa portuaria, donde se realizar\u00e1n las actividades portuarias. Esta comprende los muelles espigones, canales de ingreso mar\u00edtimos, \u00e1reas de mantenimiento y talleres, as\u00ed como espacios de almacenamientos para contenedores y carga granelera y rodante.<\/p><p>El segundo componente es el complejo de ingreso e incluye el antepuerto vehicular, puertas de ingreso, \u00e1rea de inspecciones de aduanas, oficinas administrativas y \u00e1reas de servicios log\u00edsticos y de apoyo. Se ubica hacia el este de la zona operativa a una distancia de aproximadamente 2 kil\u00f3metros.<\/p><p>El tercer componente es el t\u00fanel subterr\u00e1neo que conecta al complejo de ingreso con la zona operativa portuaria. Tendr\u00e1 una longitud de 1,8 kil\u00f3metros y constituir\u00e1 un corredor vial segregado y exclusivo para el tr\u00e1nsito de carga relacionado a la operaci\u00f3n portuaria. Asimismo, en la zona operativa se construir\u00e1n los canales mar\u00edtimos de aproximaci\u00f3n y maniobra de naves, el espig\u00f3n de abrigo sur de Punta Chancay y los cuatro primeros amarraderos.<\/p><p>Mario de las Casas Vizquerra, gerente de asuntos p\u00fablicos de Cosco Shipping, indic\u00f3 que esta obra ser\u00e1 un terminal moderno, bien equipado y con capacidad para recibir buques portacontenedores con capacidad para 18.000 contenedores provenientes de Asia.<\/p><p>Con este proyecto, Per\u00fa apunta a convertirse en el hub de Asia en el Pac\u00edfico sur. La inversi\u00f3n del proyecto en su primera etapa asciende a US$1.213 millones (no incluye IGV), en tanto que en su concepci\u00f3n final superar\u00e1 los US$3.600
